About Me

Hi! It's nice to meet you! I'm Nathan, a 22 year old kid from the East Coast USA. However you manged to find my blog, I'm glad you're here! Allow me to tell you some more about myself.

I think one of the best ways to describe me is a chronic hobbiest with way too much to learn, but never enough to satisfy. I have a lot of hobbies. If you want to see just how many hobbies I've at least tried, you should check out my hobby list! If any of these interest you, feel free to contact me and talk to me about it! You can find me on Instagram and Discord, or you can go directly to the contact page.

My Hobby List

I also do a lot of different things in my professional life. My primary goal is to become a nerve surgeon, running a private practice for chronic pain relief. I also have passions for cybersecurity and software development. I served in the US Army for 6 years as a Signal soldier, through which I found a love for all things computer science. In my time in the service, I rose to the rank of E-5 Sergeant, and I started my professional journey in IT by getting a few entry level CompTIA certifications.

I love to learn; I find there is a unique joy in learning how to do something you've never tried before. Life is short; too short to waste! I took some inspiration from some of my mentors, and I decided to make what I call my Impossible List. My Impossible List is a compilation of all the goals I want to achieve in many various different fields. Unlike a bucket list, an Impossible List will always be growing and changing, and it helps me to pursue all my goals every day. I encourage you to make your own Impossible List too (you can use mine for inspiration if you'd like 😁)!

Impossible List

I post blogs on my website regularly about my everyday life and the hobbies I'm pursuing. I hope that my blogs encourage you to try new and different things, and to not be afraid to be bad at something you've never done! If you read a post and find it particularly interesting, reach out to me and we can talk about it! I may even have resources that you might want to use to learn something new yourself.

I hope you too find joy in learning as I do! Sapere aude!
